Henna Aftercare
- Keep your henna on for at least 2 hours, and ideally between 4-6 hours.
- Remove the dry paste by picking and rubbing it, do not rinse with water.
- Your initial stain will be a light pumpkin orange color...don't fret.
- It will take a full 48 hours for your stain color to mature and darken to its deepest possible color. Keep the immature stain dry for at least the first 24 hours of this waiting time.
- To make your henna last: avoid scrubbing, and keep moisturized. Heartfire's Henna balm is perfect for protecting and prolonging the life of your stain!
- Henna designs last for around two weeks. You should have 4-7 days of great color, followed by about a week of fading. Depending on where on the body you have your design, you may find that it lasts even longer.
- If you wish to accelerate the demise of your stain, gently exfoliate the area.
